Overview
So despite the intense heat, mosquito bites and sore feet we all had a great time. Rome is a wonderful city full of history and beautiful architecture and we enjoyed ‘roaming’ around it for 4 days. We saw everything that we planned to and even managed to fit some extra things in here and there. The weather was sunny, the food was good and we even heard someone say “Mama mia!”, everything you could want from a trip to Italy.
So overall it was a great weekend and I can’t think of a better way to end the summer than to go out into the world and have a good time with some good people. I definitely want to visit more of Italy someday but until then I will say goodbye, or should I say Arrivrederci!
